Questions, answered
I've never done any of this — where should I start?
Golden Trapeze, Mat Pilates, MELT Fascia Release, Restorative Yin Trapeze and Sound Bath are all excellent for beginners and anyone new to the studio. Your first group class is just $15 — or book a complimentary VIP Orientation and we'll show you around and map out a plan.
What actually is Yoga Trapeze?
Not just a soft hammock. Yoga Trapeze uses a static, non-stretchy fabric with three pairs of handles — similar to TRX bands — for a mix of stretch and strength work. It's easy for anyone to build grip strength and, when you're ready, go safely upside down.
What's the difference between a class, a trio, and a private?
Group classes are our regular sessions in a welcoming room of students. Trio classes are small-group work on the Pilates Reformer or Gyrotonic Tower with just 2–3 people. Private and duet sessions are fully tailored one-on-one (or with a friend) across any apparatus — the best fit for rehab, injuries or specific goals.
Do you work with injuries, surgery recovery or chronic pain?
Yes — it's at the heart of what we do. Amanda has worked with clients recovering from stroke, surgery and neurological challenges, and we tailor every session to your body. Start with a private session so we can assess you properly, often alongside your physical therapist or doctor.
What should I wear and bring?
Clean socks are required for every class, and grippy traction socks are required for machine sessions. Bring a water bottle — we have a water station, so refills are easy. Wear comfortable workout clothes you can move in; for trapeze classes, pants without zippers or buttons are a must, since those can catch on the fabric.
What's your cancellation policy?
Group classes require 12 hours' notice to cancel. Trio machine classes and private one-on-one sessions require 24 hours' notice. The late-cancellation fee for privates varies by trainer ($55) or master trainer ($75), which keeps the credit for another time.
